Far right is Tom Parker, who at the time would have been Station Officer at Havant. Next to him is Sam Richards, Area Suoerintendent (White Area-South East) Hampshire County Ambulance. Next to him (3rd from right) is Capt. Walter Mills, Section Officer, Civil Defence. The photo was taken at Fareham CD HQ situated on the approach to the rail station. The building still exists today and is the single story building of Fareham Fire Station.
